We organized a workshop
"Symmetries in Graphs, Maps and Complexes"
in July 15 (to July 19), 2002, which took place on the campus of
University of Aveiro, in Aveiro, Portugal. The workshop
brought together people interested in various aspects of group actions
on combinatorial and topological structures. The
program consisted of lectures of invited speakers and short talks of
other participants. The contributions
was related
to one of the following topics:
A booklet with abstracts was included in the workshop materials.
Research problems related to the topic of our workshop
were welcome: speakers were encouraged to include unsolved problems in
their talks and there
was also two problem sessions during
the workshop.
