About Optimization

After Coimbra 1991 and 1998 and after Braga 1995 the next Optimization Conference in Portugal will be held in Aveiro, from 23 to 25 July  2001.

The site of the conference, the Aveiro University campus, is surrounded by refreshing lagoons,  the typical lagoon-side quarters and the more modern part of the millenary city of Aveiro. The map of the University campus can be seen here.

The topics of the conference are Linear, Nonlinear,  Combinatorial and Global Optimization. There will be six invited presentations and several parallel sessions with contributions.

The conference language is English.
